Please read these Terms & Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using HymnGather. By creating an account or using any part of the platform you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

1. About HymnGather

HymnGather is an online community platform for faith-based musicians, groups, and venues. It provides tools for profile listings, event management, messaging, connection requests, and booking inquiries.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use HymnGather. By registering, you represent that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. Accounts

  • You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • Notify us immediately via emailif you suspect unauthorized access.
  • You may not create accounts on behalf of others without their explicit permission.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Post content that is unlawful, harmful, harassing, or discriminatory
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Use the platform for spam, unsolicited commercial messages, or automated scraping
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform or its infrastructure
  • Upload malware or any code intended to disrupt or damage the service
  • Violate the intellectual property rights of others

We reserve the right to remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of content you post to HymnGather (profiles, photos, event listings, messages). By posting, you grant HymnGather a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to store, display, and distribute your content solely as needed to operate the platform.

You represent that you have the rights to any content you post and that it does not infringe any third-party rights.

6. Events and Bookings

HymnGather provides tools for event listings and booking inquiries but is not a party to any agreement between users. We do not guarantee the accuracy of event details or the performance of any booking arrangement. Any agreements made through the platform are solely between the parties involved.

7. Intellectual Property

All platform code, design, branding, and original content produced by HymnGather are our exclusive property and may not be copied, redistributed, or used without our written permission.

8. Disclaimers

HymnGather is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

We are not responsible for the conduct of users or the accuracy of user-generated content.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HymnGather and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to HymnGather at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, provisions that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will remain in effect.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of HymnGather after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in the United States.
